My Love, My Life

Nothing seems sweeter,

Holding her in my arms is the most amazing feeling I could ever imagine. We fit so well.  Never before have I felt so connected to ONE person…One person I can share my thoughts, my fears, and my sorrows with.  Her wish is my command…

What Would You Do For Your True Love?

What would you do for the one that means the most to you? Would you follow the saying “If you truly love someone, let them go, and if they come back, then it’s meant to be?” For me, I followed this saying, and am in fact still following this saying. The love of my life found herself torn, but not torn in a way I can blame her.

As much as she wants to blame it all on herself, I hold nothing against her. She wants to go out, experience her High School as best as she can, away from the ropes and cables of a commitment. Can I blame her? She once told me “Sometimes, The best things in life come just a little too soon.”

Never more has this saying been true, but in that it left me with one simple question. At least, a question that sounds simple, but when considering everything, all the feelings, the little emotions…it was the hardest question I had ever had to answer. Back and forth for weeks she and I went, as though a large scale emotional boxing match. However, it was one really neither of us wanted to win, because neither of us wanted to hurt the other anymore.

Should true love be this complicated? Or like the fairy tales do all great things come with a price to pay? Perhaps this IS my fairy tale.

I guess to sum up the entire article I have to ask this to you, the reader. What would YOU do for a life of happiness with someone you love, and who loves you more than the world? Would you deal with a little pain? Would you go to the end of the world with them? Would you stand by their side, place your hand on their shoulder when they cry just because when they cry a tear, your heart cries one as well? Or would you abandon them?

I chose………her.

The Michigan Flood!!!

Here in the northern states we have been ht with so much snow it has been ridiculous.  On the record now it stands that on the 4th of July ’08, we had more sunshine than this entire month of December. Not a day has passed that some kind crap has not fallen from the sky, be it rain, snow or sleet, it seems to always been something. 

 

Well…After 3 days of intense snow storms…We had 60 degree weather.  Yes, you read that right, 60 degree weather and rain. The day before, we had only about 20-30.  That’s two feet of snow….melting.

 

These are photos I took on my day out of the massive flooding in my area.  Tomorrow I am going to try to get more shots…

 

What’s neat about this shot..that ditch you see that is flooded.  Yes..it is a water drain ditch not a river…it’s 10 feet deep.

Christmas time came around and with it I was booked. There was no way I could of done much of anything for the Website. I would like to apologize to any and all who were looking and wishing ton see some new art. Please forgive me!

First off..I want to say what an honor it is to do this. When I began posting my work on www.deviantart.com he was one of the first to notice my Photography.  It was quite nice to have someone as talented as this artist is notice MY work lol. I finally worked up the courage to ask him if I could do a feature on him and in fact his artwork.  He agreed and I asked him to choose which photos he liked the best of his own and to say a few words on each.

“This piece is for me very important, as I myself think I managed to get some emotions into it, something that remains there forever. Seized to moment to say.”

“As for this image, I like the atmosphere I created here, composition seems allright to me, so I just happen to be happy with this image.”

“This image has to be my best image it has rhytm, contrast, correct tone, good composition, so its a definet pick. Shooting this image was rather tricky, I spent over 30 minutes to set up camera properly, then I did the exposuring, I did many many shots til I got one with correct exposures.”

“I chose this because it was so hard shot, I’ve tried photographing that place for so many times with so many fails, finaly I did it, with tripod and 3 exposures compiled to one. I finally did it!”

 As for me, I started photography a year ago, with canon IXUS 950IS. Shortly I started thinking about buying a dslr, but I waited another 6 months, on may 18th I bought canon EOS 400D, which I am using now. Now I’m thinkin about nikon D700 or canon 5D, as I don’t want to buy anymore lenses for my 400D as they would be pretty useless for 5D (as its full format sensor, and 400d is apc-s, which crops 1.6x, so wide angle lens for 5D would be waste, atleast how I see it.

Basicly what got to me into photography was that trip to thailand, and my mom (:P) buying me a camera.

What photography is for me?
with photography I can stop the clocks.
I can transfer my feelings to photo
I can capture the world as I see it and show it to other people
Thats why I love photography.

For me post-process playes a role in photography, in digital photography the different is that we use photoshop, and lightroom instead of chemicals ( in analog photography ). I see photoshop as easier way to post process image, as we all know post-processing has been there always, even in film photography you can change atleast following things with post-process:
Contrast, tones and exposure, same things as photoshop does. It just was alot harded with chemicals.
